What is RAW Honey?

Raw honey is a natural and unprocessed form of honey that is collected straight from the beehive without undergoing significant heating or filtration. It retains all the natural enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and flavors that make honey a unique and beneficial food. When raw honey crystallizes, it becomes thick and grainy, forming small crystals. This is a natural process that occurs due to the high sugar content in honey. It doesn't indicate that the honey has gone bad; rather, it's a sign of its authenticity and quality.

What to do when RAW Honey christalizes?

Place the jar of crystallized honey in a bowl of warm water.
Make sure the water is not too hot; lukewarm water is sufficient.

Let the honey jar sit in the warm water for about 15-30 minutes.
Over time, the gentle heat will melt the crystallized honey, returning it to its liquid state.
Avoid using high heat or microwaving, as excessive heat can degrade the honey's beneficial compounds.
Once the honey has softened, gently stir it with a clean utensil to help distribute the heat and break up the crystals.

Be patient and avoid vigorous stirring.Remember that the goal is to gently warm the honey, not to cook it.
Exposing honey to high temperatures can diminish its natural qualities and flavour.
It's also important to use utensils and containers that are clean and dry to prevent any moisture from entering the honey, as excessive moisture can promote fermentation.

Enjoy the pure, raw goodness of your honey once it's back to its liquid form, and embrace the wonderful flavours and benefits it offers.
